"There is no reaching the Self. If the Self were to be reached, it would mean that the Self is not here and now, but that it is yet to  be obtained.  What  is got afresh will also be lost. What is not permanent is not worth striving for. You are the Self. You are already That!"

"When you return to your Self, this is called awakening, liberation, freedom. Having known your Self you know everything.  In the awakening the whole universe is discovered to be within yourself. All universes are within you, and you are the universe. This is ultimate understanding."  A seeker after truth for his whole life, Sri Poonjaji, affectionately called Papaji, met his Master, Ramana, in 1942. Papaji left his body on September 6, 1997.

"Stillness reveals presence of Being.
You are that presence of Being. Receive your Self. Drink your Self. Begin your exploration of That.  I do not mean explore your thoughts, your emotions, your feelings, your sensations, or your circumstances. Explore your Self. That which is before, during, and after all objects of awareness." In April 1990, Gangaji met her teacher, Papaji, on the banks of the holy river Ganga in India.
